Jennifer & Josiah: Brisbane Wedding

Wedding Photography Brisbane

May Day was the day for a gorgeous vintage style Brisbane wedding .

Jennifer and the girls did their pre wedding preparations and hair and makeup, at the beautiful french inspired Glamour Beaute’ Lounge, an all in one salon, where you can have your H&M, beauty services and get dressed, all in the one place.  Gorgeous for pre wedding photos. Jennifer’s Gown was by La Bella Moda Bridal, shoes by Suna Shoes and Flowers by Maree Thomas Gullys Garden Floristry.

We met Josiah and the boys (well there was a grooms woman, Josiah’s sister) at the Holy Trinity church in New Farm, where the ceremony took place.  Boys suits by Ron Bennett Menswear.

It was all go at the factory that morning, with the wedding reception being held later that evening at the church hall… Josiah and his family all running around with furniture and decorating the room. We must say, an amazing result from Jen & Joe’s imagination and help from their family, because the hall looked quite amazing after all the hard work was done.

We worked alongside Scott from ST Videography and he too, runs around capturing all the happenings, it was nice working with Scott, who genuinely loves capturing the event for his clients.

The wedding photos were shot around Brisbane City, then we went to the Brisbane Botanical Gardens and finished at the Powerhouse, where we ran into 4 other weddings, what a busy place on the weekend.

The colour theme was purple and black and guess what the guests wore… I thought I was seeing things, then realised it had to be planned. The colour theme continued into the reception room which was very cool. Wedding theming hire by Illuminated Event Hire and the hall lighting and effects by Insight Sound and LightingPhoto booth by Get a Photo Booth and Gourmet Coffee Stall by Event Coffee

Wedding Cake by Zambettos Cake Creations and wedding DJ – Emmanuel from Pro Disc Music.

We had a wonderful day, capturing your wedding photos and we wish you both much happiness.
