Hanna and Mitch – Q1 Wedding

How did you meet:

Mitch and I actually went to highschool together, although we never spoke at school. Reason being Mitch was three grades above me and claims he thought I ‘looked nice’ but was too young for him at the time! Obviously we met up again after we had both finished school when it was more ‘age-appropriate’

How did Mitch propose:

Mitch proposed while we were on holiday with my Dad and Stepmum in beautiful Broome in North WA. He waited until we were a few days in to our stay and then took me on a sunset picnic at Cable Beach. At the time I wondered why he was insisting on carrying our heavy esky right up to the top of the sand dune! He again waited a couple of hours until the sun was setting over the ocean and then asked me to pour him a drink. As I turned around with his drink there he was, on bended knee with the engagement ring of my dreams! It made it more special that we could then go and celebrate with my family. My idea of the perfect proposal!

What did you think of your wedding day experience:

We had an amazing wedding day experience! Celebrating the most special time of our lives so far with a great venue, great suppliers, great food and wine, and getting to enjoy all of this with our loved ones – it was everything we wanted and had imagined plus so much more!

What was your favourite part of the day:

Interestingly enough, the ceremony. We had envisaged it to be the recption while we enjoyed celebrating with all of our guests, howevever, after experiencing the day nothing beats watching each other as the the bride walks down the aisle and whilst we said all of those special words to each other in the ceremony.

What have you thought of your photography experience with us:

We have had a perfect experience with Photographic Art. Truly, there is nothing we would change about the photographers we chose. Photographic Art demonstrated experience, professionalism and excellence the whole step of the way. They were very genuine and likeable, making us feel comfortable throughout the whole wedding photography journey. The photos are exceptional… and everyone else who has viewed them has enthusiastically agreed. We can’t wait until our beautiful album arrives!

Any Advice for other Couples planning their wedding:

Don’t discount the importance of quality memorabilia from the day (e.g. photos, videos, guest book etc). It may seem overwhelming during the planning stage when you have so many other things to organise, however, once the day is over all you want to do is relive it, and without tangible memories of your day it will be much easier to forget all the details!

A Note From Photographic Art :

Hanna and Mitch, may we say how much fun we had spending the day with you. Your bridal party was an absolute pleasure and we must admit, you were all just loving the camera, particularly the girlies 🙂 We loved the thought you put into the styling of your day and the fact that you chose fantastic people for us to work with among our industry. We wish you both the most amazing journey through your lives together.
